Tennis Europe Junior Masters
The Masters is the elite season-ending event for the Tennis Europe Junior Tour’s Top 8 boys and girls aged 14 and 16 & Under. Former champions include players such as Rafael Nadal, Kim Clijsters, Alexander Zverev and Belinda Bencic. First played in 1996, the Tennis Europe Junior Masters is devised to reward the best-performing players of the year on the Tour. The Masters officially brings the season to an end, and features the six best European players of both the 14 and 16 & Under Race to Monte-Carlo rankings, plus the finalists of the European Junior Championships.
2020 Tennis Europe Junior Masters
03.09.2020 - Tennis Europe and the Monegasque Tennis Federation have announced the cancellation of the 2020 Tennis Europe Junior Masters.
The season-ending event, which was due to be held from October 30th – November 1st, is devised to bring together the Top 8 boys and girls aged 14 and 16 & Under for one final elite competition in each age group.
Tennis Europe Junior Tour competitions resumed this week after a six-month break which saw a total of over 330 events on the Tour’s ‘Race to Monte-Carlo’ postponed or cancelled.
The 2020 Junior Masters was to be the first edition at the event’s prestigious new home of the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
Tennis Europe and the Monegasque Tennis Federation will now focus on preparations for the 2021 competition.
