ITF Seniors Ranking Update

03.03.2021 In respect of the reduced tournament numbers, and to help protect players who have been unable to compete during the pandemic, the ITF confirms the following updates which are effective immediately:

  • All results from 18 March 2019 to 1 July 2019 will remain protected until 5 July 2021. The drop date of results since 18 March 2019 will be further extended in line with these dates.
  • From 5 July 2021 through to 13 December 2021, results from the previous 104 weeks will be counted in line with the existing rankings solution. I.e. all points from 18 March 2019 to 1 July 2019 will drop on 5 July 2021.
  • It is planned for the 52-week ranking to return on 13 December 2021. I.e. all points earned from 14 December 2020 or earlier will drop on 13 December 2021.
  • Ranking points earned during 2021 will drop after 52 weeks. In line with the current criteria, only results earned in one edition of a higher-grade tournament (World Championships, S1000, S700 or S400 tournament) shall count towards a player’s best four results if both editions take place within the same 52-week period.
