The 2022 edition of the prestigious Open Stade Français was launched today at a press conference at Roland Garros.
This will be the 32nd year of the Category 1 14 & Under tournament in Paris. The boys’ and girls’ singles finals will take place on the courts of Roland Garros, giving extra motivation to players looking to follow in the footsteps of recent champions like Andrey Rublev and Qinwen Zheng.
Under the close supervision of Tournament Director Jacques Laurent, the tournament has once again attracted a stellar international field, with competitors from over 50 nations around the world due to take part from 4-10 July.
Tennis Europe CEO Thomas Hammerl was among the guests at the tournament launch, and thanked Mr. Laurent for his decades of dedication to running the event.
